I was fifteen when my world came crashing down around me. It might not be your typical tragedy, but it managed to leave scars that ran deeper than any I've ever had before or since. Having your boyfriend or girlfriend break up with you, or a family member dying isn't the only way you can have your heart broken. Friends can and will eventually do it to you. That's what I've come to learn.

Later that Friday evening I was getting ready for Jena. I had on my sexy
Red short dress and my black knee high boots. I was in the mirror putting on my blood red lipstick and then my dark eyeliner.

"Wow look at you." Tom smiled coming in kissing my neck. "Tom I'm sorry about our date tonight." I said wrapping my arms around his neck. "Look it's okay. You have fun with Jena stay out all night with her." Tom smiled kissing my cheeks. "Tomorrow I'll make this up to you." I said seductively as I stroke down his chest. "Mmm can't wait." Tom teased.

I grabbed my little black leather purse and I was on my way out.

The next morning It was 10am and I was just now waking up. I threw the covers back going to the bathroom and I washed my face Then I put on my robe going downstairs and I saw Tom cooking? This was a first. "Smells good." I smiled. "Good morning Mika did you sleep well?" Tom asked.
"Yes fine thanks…what's all this?" I asked.

"Well this is saying that I'm sorry about what happened last night. I didn't mean to come in so late without calling to let you know things just got hung up." Tom apologized. "It's okay." I smiled leaning for a kiss. Tom wrapped his arms around me making the kiss deeper.

"Come on Tom wake up." I chuckled as I crawled on top of him playfully.
"Ugh Mika 5 more minutes I'll settle for 3." Tom smiled trying to wake up.
